Yesterday I went to the dentist for an x-ray and I came out with braces. I honestly did not expect to — it was supposed to be just a consultation but bam my dentist told me she and my mom talked and okay (in her words) “ikabit na natin!”
I spoke too soon, though, about the pain. An hour after I got them I thought, well, this isn’t so bad and today, wow it hurts to bite into a pancake.
